Flower Essences for Fear

The energies lately have been intense and bizarre. I’ve been doing a great deal of releasing of old stuff lately as different buttons have been pushed and poked at. Releasing is never really fun or pretty, but very necessary. With releasing usually comes FEAR. It’s one of those big emotions that blanket all the other ones we’ve kept inside. I’ve been guided back to Nature for support and help. Here’s some really good flower essences that help ease fear. Those with stars next to them are offered in my online shop on this website.

  1. One of my favorite essences is Bach Remedies’ Aspen. It’s perfect for free-flowing anxiety, psychic contamination (when you are empathically picking up others’ fears.) A few drops under the tongue is all that is needed. This essence can be repeated often until you feel calm again. Bach Remedies can be found in most health food stores.
  2. Fear of moving forward? Gilia* is a cool purple flower that is great for that. Take it with Squash* (the balls essence) and you will be forging ahead in spite of any fear.
  3. Fear for loved ones and their paths? Take Bach Remedies’ Red Chestnut. It’s for the worrier.
  4. Panic? That kind of fear? Take Rock Rose or Rescue Remedy, both Bach Remedies. If I fly, which I hardly ever do, I take the Rescue Remedy. I took this one when I recently made it to the dentist. Oooh, scary.

Enjoy the support of Nature! When I am lost in fears, one of the best thing I can do is head out to Nature to re-balance and to feel more grounded. When I am grounded, or calm, I can then see and think straight and can see what fears are legitimate, and which ones are just old stuff coming to the surface.

Technical difficulties and Being Psychic

Last week was very electric and I had a weird dream about why.

In my dream, I had a new skill. I could move things with my mind when I was very upset or emotional. Waking up, half delirious, I squinted my forehead and focused hard on a book on my side table. Could I move it? Nope, it didn’t budge. I figured either I was looney or I wasn’t upset enough.

I wasn’t sure what this dream meant and put it in the back of my mind with the rest of the mysteries I can’t solve.

Then my “things” all acted out at once.

My car, which was just fine, decide to have transmission complaints. It is an older model, so that made some sense.

I had an argument with my one friend and came home to bulbs blowing out at once, and all my photos on my cell phone disappeared mysteriously.

This had happened before. Back in June, after hearing really bad news, that same day my trusty computer’s hard drive died on me. Just like that, it refuse to turn on.

Logical mind says, Well, the computer was older, the bulbs needed changing, the car needs new parts. That is true. But the timing is so interesting.

Each time these things happened, I was very upset.

I’ve noticed before, that friends can’t hear me on the cell phone when I get too emotional. My voice goes in and out or there’s static.

When I did calm down from having that argument with my friend and found some peace, all my cell phone pics came back. They were just there.

Look, if we are all energy, we can affect other energy including appliances. Look at poltergeist activity or “ghosts” trying to move objects so we notice them.We read each other’s energy, are affected by their energy from far away.

Perhaps, just like my body will reflect what I am feeling and what is happening in my life (I am very somatic), maybe my things are just doing the same.

If it doesn’t feel right, it isn’t right for you

I just learned an important lesson. And which is usually the case, I of course need to turn around and share, because that’s what I do.

As a intuitive empath, my psychic sense is rooted in my feelings. When I don’t trust those feelings, I run into trouble. Often, my spidey sense might not make sense at the time, might not even seem logical, but I find out later, those empath hits are spot on.

It was a silly thing really. I was rushing around buying dog food at my nearby feed store. I wanted to buy a small bag of the specialty dog food for Emma Lou I now have her on. The grain-free dog foods have been amazing for both girls’ health and wellness. I was a little miffed when I saw that the space on the shelf for the smaller bags was empty, so I asked the salesman at the counter if they had anymore. He explained I was better off getting the bigger bag financially and a whole bunch of other reasons, and I started the procedure to buy the bigger bag. I could feel my inner nasty fairy in a fit. I wanted the smaller bag. What was in my one bank account was enough, I knew, for the small bag. I had money coming over from my other account in a transfer but I wasn’t sure if it was in there yet. I felt actual resentment I was buying this big bag of dog food against what I wanted to buy.

Long story short, the big bag of dog food caused my overdraft to go into effect because the transfer did not come in time and that $33 bag cost me $68.00. I caught the intuitive feeling as I was walking away and went back to the store and returned the big bag for the little bag and the bank, later on, gratefully, was able to work with me clearing the fees. (this rarely happens with most banks.)

Lesson learned? Definitely a lesson in creating boundaries. I needed not to give in to the salesman and stand my ground. Two, don’t do overdraft protection with your bank cards. You are literally playing beat the clock with a computer who doesn’t care. Thirdly, I felt what wasn’t right for me and I needed to trust that inner intuition, which was basically telling me there would be a problem if I bought the bigger bag. This is good to know when anyone asks me to do anything. Does it feel right to me? Ignore logic or anything else in that moment, if it doesn’t feel right, and worse, you are feeling resentment, it isn’t right for you. No explanations are needed.

We Learn What We Need to Teach and Insects in Dreams

I am finding that whatever I am meant to teach at the time, I will be learning. Sometimes these lessons come gently and easily and other times, a little stronger.

Tonight I am teaching a teleclass on Better Boundaries for Sensitives. This is THE topic that as Empaths we need to tackle. As an empath, I have the ability to merge with an animal or person and retrieve a ton of information. There is deep connection there. It can feel pretty glorious, and give me great compassion and understanding for another. I can also do this with a spirit in the room or even a friend sitting across from me. This is all good. Having this skill makes life deep and rich.

It’s the unmerging that takes a long time to learn and isn’t a  skill we are taught in this world. We need to go back to our own center with separate boundaries.  I’ve been actively busy learning these skills as time goes on.

I visited a friend’s house and farm yesterday. To the outside eye, the place looked peaceful and quiet with animals strolling about. But to me, his place was buzzing with lots of spirits and energies. I was wide open and immediately heard messages. His animals were busy gabbing away at me also. I wasn’t overwhelmed, just very busy during the visit. When I got home though, I had LOTS of visitors and dreamt about all kinds of insects invading my space.

Insects in dreams can be a psychic metaphor for psychic invaders, leftover “other people’s stuff” and empathic cast-offs. Oops. Not a bad thing to connect, but I forgot to close down and clear out. In my dream state I could do that. Kinda like taking my container and emptying it out.

Other indications that you’re invaded by others’ stuff are dreams of intruders in rooms in your house or doors being wide open.

It’s not dangerous being a sensitive or an empath. It’s a gift, but we do need excellent self-care and maintenance which includes some new tools and skills.

Better Boundaries for Sensitives

I’ve been learning a thing or two about one of the most important tools for a sensitive person: BOUNDARIES. I’ve written about this in my eBook, Help! I’m Sensitive. Using your empathic skills, you can better read energy and then protect yourself. Go to the Animal Spirit Network to sign up for my upcoming teleclass, Better Boundaries for Sensitives. It’s on Wednesday night! Head on over to HERE.

Incidently, the class has now passed, but you can still buy it on demand at Animal Spirit Network.

Are Mediums part of the devil? I’m on my soapbox again

I have some things in life that get me going. The big one is ignorance. Ignorance is lacking knowledge. What bothers me the most is when someone chooses to stay without knowledge even though it is provided to them.

I’ve seen this before, folks actually believing that if you have mediumship abilities that you are working in kahoots with the devil. Oh, for goodness sake! Are you serious? No, really?

This is an awful belief for the many, many of us who are intuned to the spiritual world. What are you supposed to do, put a lampshade on your head and pretend you don’t feel or see the spirit in the room? That’s like ignoring the elephant in the room.
It’s a  little hard to arrange your furniture.

I watched a cute movie last night about an alien PAUL who gets stranded on earth. There is a funny scene where a woman who is strongly bible-based in her teachings is faced with the alien and she stares right at him and says he doesn’t exist basically because her teachings say he doesn’t.

Since I was six years old, I could sense spirits in the room. It was rather scary because I’d be screaming and my mom would rush into the room and see nothing but I sure could. It wasn’t an ability I embraced or felt support on how to deal with in any way. What a horrible belief, then, to say that I am from the devil or working with the dark because I have this ability! Could we create more fear? That’s a rather conditional acceptance. Much like if you were gay, or divorced, or short, or tall, or whatever…are any of these wrong? If God made us, we are what we are, and God thinks we are just fine as we are and must know about our abilities.

When we do mediumship or talk to spirits, we are not in any way replacing our connection or communication to God. Like we even could if we are a part of God. Sure, you can talk to bad or dark spirits if you aren’t careful, just like you can talk to dark or bad people in your every day life!

You know, anything can be of “the devil.” I can have an ability for anything and can twist it to work for the dark or the bad. It’s my intention or how I use my abilities. If I use my mediumship abilities to hurt people and take advantage of them, yes, that’s not a good thing; that’s hurtful. But it’s an ability to see or feel and it can help give someone help or closure or continued relationship. That’s a miracle. That’s all good. Miracles and good are from the light, not the dark. God is all about miracles.

My bigger question is, what are folks afraid of when they ask this question? What’s really happening? Are they questioning their teachings? Are they afraid of what they may hear or discover? Are they just not ready? Do they need the world or life to fit into a small box so they feel safe? Then we honor where they are and slowly back away.We are all here learning different things with different understandings at different levels.

My concern is more for the beginning and lost natural mediums out there who don’t need to feel like they are ostracized and wrong for who they are. It’s just an ability you have like being able to sing well, or dance. You can just see or feel or hear. You’re evolving and growing. The world has many layers and dimensions and you’re just picking up on that.Your blinders are being taken off.

And next time I pick up on my Mom visiting and floating nearby, I am going to thank God over and over again for this gift he/she gave me so I can have a continued relationship with the woman who meant so much to me.

Paranormal TV Series Review for the Sensitive

I love Netflix. Each week I receive my happy, little envelopes in the mail for my viewing pleasure according to my Queue. I’m lazy and it’s too hot to stand at the Redbox booth, so this works well for me. Since I joined, I’ve been able to try out different series I normally wouldn’t have watched. Some, were way too violent or dark for my sensitive nature. Others were just right. Here’s my list.

TV Series I recommend:

HAVEN: I love this quirky yet sometimes creepy series about those with different “troubles” written by Stephen King. Ordinarily, everything written by Stephen King usually has puke or evil creepy dead twins. I will never forget IT or the SHINING. But this show has great characters, a strong female lead you admire, intelligence in the plot lines with a huge dose of the supernatural, and lots of psychic abilities, too many that do go awry. I like that most of the time you are spared seeing horrible dead bodies; it’s more suggested. Bravo! We don’t need to be visually assaulted, especially us clairvoyants who never forget. I’m pretty hooked on this one and look forward to season two.

MERLIN: This is a great tv series shot in England with those great accents about Merlin’s beginnings as a teen boy. It’s wholesome with endearing relationships, and the teens don’t act skanky and make you cringe, which is always a good thing. I relate to Merlin’s quest to accept and not hide his abilities (I couldn’t talk about mine with my in-laws. My father-in-law is the one that told me Mediums are hated by God). None of the characters on this show are all good or all bad, but are very real. And maybe there’s that cool past life in King Arthur times I vaguely remember. 🙂 It’s brilliant.

THE REAPER: This was an older series of a young adult who is being told on his coming of age birthday that he now has to retrieve wayward souls from hell for the devil. It’s cleverly written, has great dry humor and interesting characters. I like the whole good vs. evil in ourselves fight that we can all relate to in some small way. The title character grapples with his destiny. Violence is minimal and most of the dark elements are funny, so less threatening.

Of course, I LOVE Ghost Whisperer. There’s so much healing on that show.  I wish they hadn’t cancelled it. DEAD LIKE ME is another very quirky, dark humored and well-written show also. Folks do die on that one each episode, but you expect it and it’s explained simply as their time to go.

My Recommendations to stay away from if you are sensitive:

SUPERNATURAL: I liked this series when it started of two brothers fighting evil. In the beginning there was a strong emphasis on the relationship between the brothers as they encountered their fight and how they grew together or apart.  But the last later episode I caught I found myself flinching through much of the violence. They have upped the violence and the special effects. It’s too cruel and mean in that department. I don’t want to watch people abusing and torturing each other. Been there, done that.

BEING HUMAN: Although I love the story of the ghost, vampire and werewolf who try to fit into society, and the british version’s acting and characters are superb, it’s very, very dark. Topics include physical domestic abuse and murder. As an empath, this one left me feeling inflicted upon and took hours to shake from one dark episode.

HARPER’S ISLAND: This series’ description should have warned me: sexy young socialites get together on a remote island they grew up on only to get slaughtered one by one. Yuck! I can no longer tolerate these kinds of movies. Each episode someone is cruelly murdered usually in disgusting, awful ways. Years ago, when I was more numbed over, I’d find this mildly entertaining. But I felt for each victim and found myself screaming at the screen, “Dude, you just took a life! How is that entertaining?” A huge empathic no.

Happy viewing, Sensitives.

Ronni’s Psychic Tip: ear ringing

Spirit activity has been very busy lately. What I am seeing with myself and my friends and clients is an increased psychic ability. Blame the solar flares perhaps, but I do have one theory. What if we are succeeding at removing so much of our “stuff” that was in the way of our abilities? Perceiving was always there, but our vision was fogged over. I like that idea. We’re actually doing a good job, not another thing we need to improve.

Which leads me to this week’s psychic tip. Have you had any ear ringing? Sometimes it’s your Angels popping in to give you a message. Other times, it’s spirit making a visit. Yesterday, I had quite a bit of ringing. Finally I yelled, “What do you want?” It’s best to be more polite and cordial in these situations. I took the time out to tune in and see what I got. Usually, a face will pop into my head mentally or a thought to identify the caller. Sometimes, the spirit will just be delivering a message and you may not be sure who it’s from except to feel it’s a he or a she. That happened yesterday. I was just yelled at for not drinking enough water.

Of course, ear ringing can be you have water in your ear from swimming the day before, or you have a food allergy. Psychic ear ringing is usually sporadic and sudden and you have a gut feeling a presence  is nearby.

List: When I can Hear Guidance and When I Can’t

I’ve been keeping track when, how and where I hear good guidance vs. fears, spirits and crazy thoughts picked up along the way. Here’s my list of when I hear guidance the best:

  1. In the bathtub. No seriously. Water acts like a conductor and I get all kinds of big ah-ha’s being submerged in water. When I used to swim I always received a ton of creative ideas.
  2. Being around like-minded’s. Many of my buds are intuitive and when I am around or talk to them, I am raised up and tuned-in. We amplify each other.
  3. When I am happy. Duh.
  4. Being in Nature = #3 above.
  5. When the computer is turned off and the radio, tv, etc., I can hear much better. That seems logical as there is no interference. When my computer went down, after the first few days of serious withdrawal symptoms, I began to hear again after being shut down (hey, I just caught that. My computer shut down when I shut down!)
  6. Today at Unity Center, I was raised up. Once the music began playing from William Eaton and his daughter, I was in bliss. I could then hear true guidance and suggestions that my Guides have been trying to pass along, but I wasn’t able to hear before.
  7. I’d like to say when I am high on sugar, but that just makes me hyper, not wiser, unfortunately.
  8. When I am feeling loved. My heart is open and I am receptive to the good.
  9. When I draw. That’s when I am relaxed and doing what I love. Super-easy to reach me with good advice.
  10. The dream state! If I am having a very hard time hearing and need guidance, I sleep on it. Next morning I usually awake very wise with answers.

My List for When I don’t Hear Guidance or Hear False Guidance:

  1. When I am bitchy. Ha ha! Bad moods usually mean I am shut down and in a Nasty Fairy state of mind.
  2. Negative tv watching. I watched one show the other night and was not feeling right for a whole day.
  3. Fear. When I am lost in my own or someone else’s fear, I really can’t hear true guidance. I am like a spinning top in my own world of my own yuckky making that consists of the past or the imagined future.
  4. When I am very tired. I tend to zone out completely or hear guidance in small blips that come in and out.
  5. When I am in negative environments usually where the old paradigms work, at least they think it works. Being in those is like trying to hear through mud. Be there long enough and survival is based on only if you become blind and dumb.
  6. Negative or mean people. That kinda goes along with number 5. Being around negative people gets me going and then I’m useless for hours. They usually give unhelpful advice based on their negative experiences or filter. (Did you hear the new Taylor Swift song Mean? It’s so on.)
  7. When I am trying too hard to hear.
  8. When I am in my head not my heart and I think I know the answers using “logical mind” vs. feel and really know the answers.
  9. When I use a pendulum. I’m one of those people who can’t. Apparently, I get a great deal of false positives when I want a positive. It’s very frustrating.
  10. When I am really angry at God and my Guides. Face it, that shuts close the door for a little while. Thank goodness they are patient.

So, try to do a little more of the first list, and recognize when you are doing some of the second list. I know I will try to.
