Animal Communication

I’m on the soapbox: Zoo owner not very aware

This article caught my eye. At a zoo, a golden retriever takes care of recently abandoned (by their biological mother) tiger cubs.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080731/ap_on_fe_st/odd_adopted_tigers

What caught my eye and got me reeling is this lovely comment by the zoo keeper:

The mother doesn’t know the difference, Harvey said. He said the adopted mother licks, cleans and feeds the cubs.”

She doesn’t know the difference?! Sir, are you unintelligent? Are you saying the dog doesn’t realize or notice the puppies she is nursing are tigers? Maybe, perhaps, because she recently had puppies and nursed her own, she has compassion and love for these babies who were rejected? I’m sorry. I keep forgetting how wild dogs are and how simple and stupid they are. NOT! I don’t know what kinds of dogs this man usually meets, but this sure isn’t my experience.

Don’t get me going…

Earth energies and our animals

We have coming up both a solar and lunar eclipse. Oh goodie! So opportunity for big changes. If you are sensitive, you may have had plenty of mood swings and big clearings. We are getting ready for more expansion.

I am noticing with my own animals and the animals of clients, that they are also experiencing a great deal. The sensitive ones may be helping us to deal with the powerful changes, and may also be helping us release some big stuff we’ve been carrying and don’t need anymore. Some of our animals may be mirroring our own physical ailments by taking our stuff on.

What can we do for them? In some areas, let them. Our animals are amazing at taking energies and transmuting them. Whatever you do for yourself to heal, do the same thing for your animals, and heal together. I find that many animals have the same issues as we do and we are simply schoolmates learning the same lessons. This happens often. And again, ask for miracle healing. We are at a time where that is possible.

Build-up and being psychic

I am finding that now that I am doing much more ac readings, and I going back into that pool, I am having much less headaches. Many times I will have such a buildup in energy occur where I will actually see sparks and energy. I am wondering then, if by using my abilities I am working with the energies to flow through and use, so I am not experiencing such a build-up. For so long I felt I’d try to be “normal” and mainstream myself for awhile, avoiding who I am. I can’t. I am a very intuitive person. I need to use it and not fight it. Come out of the closet, so to speak, and say, this is what I do! No matter how freaky it may be to some. This information really helps people and their animals.

I used to watch Ghost Whisperer, when we watched a great deal of tv (we only rent shows now or watch online). On the show, the main character embraced her gift regularly to help others, as painful & as frustrating as that can be sometimes. Her mother, on the other hand, denounced that ability, and had terrible headaches. Makes me wonder…

But, I have also noticed, that when someone is particularly negative towards me or even if there is a spirit in the room bugging me, my head will ache in my psychic spot. I think I need to really listen to my body, which has a psychic wisdom all its own.

It’s been crazy…lost dogs and others

I am amazed at this week’s happenings.

Bruiser the dog’s Mom emailed me that he had ran off again in another city. He gets spooked easily and they had been travelling to many new towns for her work on her books.  I’ve been exhausted lately with Foxy’s illness and now recovery, our beagle friend showing up and then leaving, so I wasn’t sure if I had the energy to help. I checked in and felt Bruiser’s confusion and fear, and only a few words. So, I did what I do before I teach a class, I ask my Guides and Angels to assist and guide me to teach and say the right things, after all, they are the experts. As soon as I did, the message I received was crystal clear and of a different nature. I was expecting directions to where he was, which he gave some landmarks, but instead, he delivered a personal message to Lorraine. Check out the story here.

Right along the same lines, during a meditation last week while our beagle friend was visiting, a vision of a golden retriever named Sally* stopped in with a message. She let me know this beagle was not Lilibeth, but a higher spirit who had come in to spread joy in the family after we were all exhausted and upset from Foxy’s illness and almost passing. Imagine my surprise when a client called several days later for an after-death session with a dog who looked exactly like the spirit who visited. The client’s nickname was Sally*! My dog client was actually a boy who used that name so Mom would know he visited and was aware of the reading. Many times animals do check me out first before a reading, and arrange the readings, and here was proof.

These incidents reminded me of how much everything is arranged behind the scenes–we only need to flow with it all, show up and do what we do. Amazing.

Being empathic can suck sometimes

I am like the posterboard model for the new energy alert at What’s UP On Planet Earth. I think I have the same Guides. 🙂 When I read the alert this morning–very early indeed–I almost flipped how much it matched what I was feeling. Foxy had a huge clearing emotionally tonight after waking from sleep twice, and I was right along with her. Kidneys are the seat of fear and I was told she was clearing out years and years of fear (she had a terrible fear of thunderstorms most of her life that brought complete terror). I was feeling what she felt and was in such fear myself, having tons of nightmares and fearful thoughts; much of what I needed to release that I probably never expressed.  Lots of Rescue Remedy later and lots of Reiki for us both, and we are now both calmer and Foxy ate her early breakfast with gusto again. Weird energies! Must we feel it all so intently?

Foxy the wonderdog

We took Foxy today to get her little time release liquids thingy in her arm redone (yes, technical terms). I am learning so much from this experience about trusting your guidance and your gut. As soon as she woke she was very shakey but starving. She ate a full portion of dog food with such gusto. Not a normal thing for a dog who is very picky about food and doesn’t ever appear hungry! She insisted on using her dog door to go out yesterday, but that didn’t work out that well. And stood up all day in the vet’s to prove a point! This is one feisty being! She’s still weak, but it’s a massive improvement.

When we had gotten the phone message to come visit her for the last time the other day, my good friend Pamela heard loudly, “Don’t let her do a thing today and saw Tinkerbell.” When we got there, I was so upset to see a very ill Foxy, but I could hear her clearly say, “Get me out of here now.” Everything I saw was conflicting with my very strong empathic feelings that this was wrong. These were not wishful feelings but a clear message! The vet was going on and on about how I could read Foxy poetry as she crossed, and how she probably wants to die at home, and Foxy was getting so angry! She told me to listen carefully and said, “I am not leaving you. I am right by your side. Just get me out of here.” Both Pamela and I let out big laughs when we both heard her express her anger over being put in the grave too early! Her spirit was so strong. She had no intention of leaving, she said.  Now before when she was becoming ill, I had such mixed messages from dreams, from Guides, even from her. But these feelings and messages were strong.

We took her home and I was so anxious, tired and drained. I gave her a ton of Reiki.  I prayed. I checked in with her angels. I saw a ton of fairy lights blink in and out. But then she ate robustly from a spoon–we all were shocked. She insisted on walking around and moving too! This was not a soul that was ready to leave. I told the vet and she just replied, “Oh, well she might be eating because she will need lots of energy to cross.” This same vet said she talked to Foxy through animal communication and Foxy had clearly said she wanted to leave. (She meant, go home to us, because she really hated the energy there).

I am glad I listened. Really listened. She seems a great deal better than from her healing crisis and everyday a little better. We need to be patient. I think she is showing that vet a thing or two, AND teaching me to trust much more than what I see. And today I got some more info on Pamela’s Tinkerbell vision. When Tinkerbell is dying, everyone she knows is asked to clap their hands and say, I do believe in fairies! It’s their belief that creates the miracle. Pam said she found a poster in her room with Tinkerbell that says, “”Wishes Do Come True.”

—————————————————————

author note: Foxy lived another 7 months and only 2 of those  ill. I am glad we listened to guidance to have that additional time.

Radio!

I was just interviewed by Mrs. Claus on the Family Yak channel– an inspirational and spiritual (but not religious) podcast online radio show in Australia. It was wonderful. Will find out soon the url to send everyone too.  I was able to talk about everything I teach–animal communication, working with the Fairies, my Fairy School, helping the Sensitives. So exciting! The funny thing was my ear was ringing most of the time. Lots of helpers assisting me with the interview, I’d say. 🙂

Psychic World vs. Real World Part Two

Thanks for my lovely on-line and off-line friends and students who wrote to my other entry. I asked for more clarity why that situation happened and the Universe was quick. The other night I gave a profound animal communication class. I don’t take credit for it, of course. I was so tired that day, so I asked my Guides to step in and guide me. I love when this happens, because the class always works out so well.

We have our skeptical couple, who I thought for sure wouldn’t return to the second class after hearing some of the “woo-woo” words I used, like “energy” and “vibration.” (I did warn them). But, when they showed up for the next class, I knew they were there for a reason.

I asked the class to break into partners to practice being the communicator and the client to tackle the emotional problems of our animals, and the couple refused to break up. Their reasoning was they knew the issues their animals were having and could best discuss it. I wasn’t sure they were “getting” that we’d tackle these issues psychically and intuitively, rather than with our logical minds. So, I was guided to have one of the other students be the communicator and help out, and they could be the clients. What happened next was exciting.

As the “communicator” picked up more and more of their animal’s energies, the answers flowed, and the couple’s eyes widened. I simply coached her along the process. She was shocked she could do that well receiving communications. The couple was intrigued. Soon, the wife was receiving answers herself and big “a-ha’s.” SHE was being psychic. Her husband amazed, looked at the “communicator” and said, “You’re good.” They had some real answers and insights that didn’t come from the logical brain and I am sure their animals were going to be very happy.

I was amazed. They were willing to open up their world a little wider in their beliefs and look how much they benefited.

The students and I discussed what happened to me in the vet office and we concluded that the vet’s reaction to putting my cards there was about FEAR. I gave the example of, if the aliens landed tomorrow in a big spaceship on the lawn of the town’s city hall, many folks would completely flip out. Their beliefs about the world of what is possible would have to expand and change, and many people don’t want that to happen. It’s too scary. Today we are experiencing so much change that it’s easy to grab onto the old for dear life for safety. That makes sense, but doesn’t work.

I am sure on some level somewhere when I am experiencing fear about my own life, I guarantee I am doing the same, but then I remember what happened to the lovely couple in my class, when they dared to open that window of possibility just a little. What great gifts arrived!

The Psychic World vs. the “real” world

I’ve been very spoiled the last eight years. We’ve lived close to Sedona, the capital of weird and much psychic activity. Most of my friends are all intuitive in some way and see things from a higher perspective. It is not uncommon to speak about animal communication or about our Guides and Angels in our normal conversation because this is our reality. We moved in the past year to an area that is beautiful and filled with activity and unknowingly moved into a small town that is very religious and church-going. Our own family is very spiritual but not religious. We all have such wild psychic experiences on a regular basis it is hard not to believe in psychic ability. Our daughter is going to a school that is very structured. She does well with structure, but we found out most of her friends are very religious and have regularly tried to save her soul on numerous occasions just because she has different beliefs. I have been pretty isolated from all of this and usually hang out with the other healers in the area. Until today.

We went to a lovely new vet. A huge coincidence (:)) was the new vet just happens to be a vet I met long ago when she was just starting out and I was just starting out in my animal communication biz. I drew her logo for her biz back then, and in return, she did a house call for our babies. She believed in animal communication, alternative healing, and flower essences, and even lived in a spiritual retreat center. We had a lovely visit today and found out Foxy, our red dog, was having some kidney stuff. Foxy herself had communicated to me that she felt her dog food was too rich and salty and was causing a strain on her kidneys. In the vet’s office, I knew then, that she needed to check Foxy’s kidneys, and was right. (Big validation I heard Foxy right). The vet also asked me if I worked with dogs’ behavior issues. At the end of the visit I felt great that I had finally found an aware vet and left some business cards at the counter. Much to my surprise and amazement, I received a phonecall from the Vet’s office saying I needed to remove my business cards because the owners are Christian and don’t believe in that “stuff.” Not missing a beat, I just suggested they give the cards to the vet we worked with who WAS into that kind of “stuff.”

I am still amazed. Perhaps I’ve been too sheltered being surrounded by like-minded’s for so long. I don’t see how being a Christian excludes you from believing in healing with Nature and working with your intuition. Many of my students have a Christian background and believe fully just from experience alone. Perhaps I was sent there that day for reassurance for the Vet we know. I am not sure if we should look for a new vet for our girls or not, or what we were meant to learn from the experience just yet. I do know that I felt excluded and unaccepted for who I am (afterall, God made me psychic!) and that is not what Christianity is supposed to be about. Christ, I recall, was all about unconditional love and acceptance for everyone. And wasn’t Christ himself able to talk to animals, heal with his hands, channel God and his messages? Hmmm. What do you think?
