Fairy & Empath Online School Friday

Lessons going out this morning on this lovely, but a little cloudy October Fairy Friday. Energetically, that’s been one hell of a week, hasn’t it? We need a vacation! Some place warm and happy. For today, I give you a little excerpt from the Fairy Healing the Feminine class, which was one of my favorites to create. (By the way, another session starts this weekend and sign-ups open here).

This one is so timely for me, as I found myself giving too much out and not getting even the basics of what I needed. When that happened, I came to the conclusion that I would have to give out much less AND that when I don’t have what I need, I am at such a disadvantage to be able to give out at all. Time to scale back.

Dog Lovers: 1000 Dog Portraits

Screen Shot 2014-04-21 at 11.32.17 AM

I am pleased as punch that three of my dog illustrations have made it into Robynne Raye’s new book, 1000 Dog Portraits, now available on Amazon. Woot! Woot! What a way to honor Emma Lou (office assistant), Sarah (angel dog) and Lilibeth (angel dog)! I just ordered a few contributor copies. I never tire of seeing my work in print. It’s one of those healthy addictions. 🙂 To celebrate, it’s time to draw some more.

Happy Animal Mom Day!

I am so deeply grateful for my animal “children.” They are so loyal, loving, understanding and kind. They have healed my heart.

Review Thursday: Karla’s Fairy Wands

I’m totally digging the fairy wands of Karla Ely. She made me this fabulous butterfly fairy wand for me out of glass!

It’s all fun and fuzzy with cute, little, intricate details.

Check out the cute skirt. It’s very powerful–already helping me make magic.

Karla makes custom wands. Wands range from $85 to $135.00. And she’s open to different themes and colors.

Banish Dream Bandit Gowns

I was looking through so many of my old notebooks and seeing that much of the guidance I received was repeated over and over, I just didn’t get it. Sigh. But at least now I am! Woo-hoo! Anyhow, I am taking Sheri Gaynor’s Creative Awakening class and we are drawing affirmations to get rid of our Dream Bandits. I elected to draw some new dresses. Check it out.

IF:Cocoon

For IF, I thought of my Barriers and Protection gown. I wish I had it sewn for real. Nowadays, everyone I know is going through major stuff and could really use a cocoon. Ironically, I just wrote about needing a safe place in my previous blog post.

I’ve been really diggin’ creating my Fairy Goddess Gowns and making custom Goddess Gown drawings. It must be the influence of watching so  much Project Runway previous series. I’m currently on Season 6 in my Netflix rotation. I find that I can express my deepest part of me–another way to access my intuition–through these drawings, and often find telling symbolism I missed way after I’ve drawn.
