Manifesting and Odd Timing

Sometimes what we want can be manifested years ahead and not when we intended. I found a whole bunch of drawings from my sketchbook including this one back in 2007 when I was trying to manifest my ideal backyard:

My backyard now has rose bushes everywhere and flowering bushes. I just planted vegetables (although, between you and me, the celery looks a little wonky), and there’s a ton of amazing trees. There’s lots of privacy and I can paint outside but I like to inside. And Emma Lou, like in the drawing, is happily strolling along the garden with the Fairies. The fence looks like that also. And the pet door.

Could be manifesting or just psychic vision. That happens a great deal, too. Interesting…

Are You Out of the Psychic Closet?

I’m intuitive. Okay, I’m psychic. There, I said it.

Perhaps it’s the word that is so freaky and scary. We envision women in gypsy garb with a crystal ball trying to scam us for money.

I don’t see the abilities I have as superparanormal in anyway, really. Some folks can play the piano or are great at basketball or amazing singers. I am none of those things. My abilities may have increased and evolved in time from attention and education, but I’m pretty sure I was just wired this way when I came in. I have a very analytical mind, which I’ve mentioned before, so I had to see lots of validations and proof that what I was receiving was correct before I embraced my abilities. After literally saving many animals lives and feeling information there was no way I would have known, I was convinced.

I don’t “do” predictions or tell your fortune. I don’t read minds, at least on purpose. I don’t know how many fingers you are holding up. That’s not my thing. Every psychic is different; Kinda like the superheroes of Xmen–one can throw fire; one can freeze things. My abilities do lie in having advanced empathy–I can feel what others feel and register information from many layers–which I’ve shared and talked about often here at this site. My other abilities lie in connecting to the spirit world and animals through thought and feeling. I also see energies.

Most all my friends are psychic in some way. Most of my readers here, and my clients and students are the same way. It’s the norm for us. I am convinced that in a few years from now we will all have this ability or acknowledge what is already there.

So, I do have to laugh when I hesitate when others ask me what I do. There’s still many who don’t believe in this “stuff.” I think that is so funny. It’s like seeing an elephant in the room and there’s folks who refuse to believe it’s there, when it’s plain as day. I love the scene in the movie, Field of Dreams, when the character’s brother-in-law couldn’t see the spirit baseball field that everyone else could. It was the big running joke of the movie. Only when he believed and opened his heart did he see it. It’s not my job to convince others who are still blind to the elephant. I can live without your approval.

Really creepy thing today: my site can show how viewers found my site through web search. The phrase was “fairy spirit channeling psychiatric disorder”. Oh, that’s funny too. Well, hopefully there’s a group of sort I could join then and have a label. Even better if there’s medication involved! Next they will be saying that talking to God and feeling his/her presence is a sign of mental illness. It’s so old school, people.

Which leads me to a recommendation for Review Thursday. I love, love the show Merlin. The title character, Merlin from King Arthur days, is a young teen trying to protect the future king while having to hide his abilities. The King hates all magic out of fear from those who have misused the ability.

I wish Merlin would just get out of the psychic/magic closet and be who he is. We all know the story that, later, of course, he does.

Until next time. I will meet you at the next meeting for the FairySpirit Channeling Psychiatric Disorder Group. Oooh, I can design the t-shirts.

Spirit contact, Lorraine’s books & Pine

BOOKS.

Lorraine Chittock sent over two of her books that I am mentioned in. So exciting! Dogs without Borders and On A Mission from Dog. Both books look beautiful. I’ve already started reading and the tales of Lorraine and her dogs’ adventures are fascinating. What a cool woman. It was  helpful to read of her reactions to the reading I did for her and what a client experiences. It’s obvious there are so many invisible hands helping out in a reading providing information. Check out her site here to order.

ARIZONA PINE.

Arizona Pine essence is now available! This is the one to help you shift those beliefs about deserving. I really dig this essence and how helpful it is. It is powerful at first and brings beliefs up. Hang in there. It then shifts it rather lovingly. Tree support is so important right now as we experience many emotional shifts. Go to the Essences for the Sensitive page to order.

SPIRIT CONTACT.

Yesterday, had a cool experience. In meditation, my belated Foxy visited. And perhaps, for the first time, I felt her touch me. She’s been a very active Guide for Bill the last year and she comes in to help me often. I felt her touch my toe! I thought, at first, having such an analytical mind that it was a sudden toe spasm, but I do know in a reading everything that happens is information. The more I noticed the toe touch and said that I did out loud, the more I felt it. I then felt my other toe tickle. When I tuned in she said she wanted my attention and was excited! Finally, I told her to stop touching my toe, that I’d listen to the messages, and it instantly stopped.  Cool. It’s like an episode of Ghosthunters. Most of the info I get is in feeling or hearing, but rarely does a spirit touch me (except for the hugs I have mentioned before in this blog). Have you ever had that experience?

SHAMELESS PLUG.

Speaking of spirits, I love the class I wrote, Talking to Angels, Guides and Dead People. It’s fun yet informative. Now’s the time to sign up for the class starts in May. Head on over to the FAIRY ONLINE SCHOOL page for details.

FAIRY DAY.

Stop by my blog on May 1st. It’s fairy day. Oooooh. There might be some surprises.

I’m off to play in the garden. This is supposed to be my day off. Yeah, right.

I’m not that kind of psychic

On Facebook, once, I got in big trouble when I said if I was THAT type of psychic–able to tell the future– I’d play the lottery to win. The woman, being very virtuous, said, “Oh no, you shouldn’t use your gifts for that.”

It was funny at the time. But this incident did bring up an interesting question. There are psychics that predict things. They can “see” if you are going to have children, or move, or jump up and down sideways in the next five minutes. These predictions, of course, can change with your choices. You could go right instead of left.

I am not one of those kinds of psychics. And yes, I’d probably play the numbers. If I had a ton of money, I could really help and reach out to a great deal of people.

My gifts lie in talking to Spirit. I cheat a little. Your Guides come in and tell me what you need to know, or if one career would be better, or what you are working on. They whisper in my ear. That’s how I know so much. The same for the animals. If they don’t tell me, I don’t know. I could empathically feel what feels right or wrong, what your soul wants, but even that is psychic information I’m picking up. I have no idea how the psychics that do predictions to what they do. It’s just a different gift. And to be quite honest, only in the last few years do I call myself a psychic. I’m not comfortable with that title. I just am what I am and what I can do that I think many can.

And yes, like everyone else, I get pissed off at my Guides when they won’t tell me what is going to happen. They only know probabilities, or your big picture blueprint, and they’ve been pretty cool lately letting me know, at least, that things would be okay or work out vs. being a disaster.

We all want to know timing. When will this happen? I wrote  a funny blog post on this topic. It never seems to be exact unless of course, it was from my reincarnated dog who came back in March and said March. She was quite accurate.

If you are a fellow empath or medium, that’s how you get your psychic information. It’s passed along. The empath part–you can go in deep and read what’s there or felt. I’ve done this with medical issues in animals, but I think it’s more info from the animals telling me and their Guides.

What kind of psychic ability do you have?

Spirit and Angel Hugs

Yesterday I was feeling sad and reflecting on a problem I had, and I felt a presence to the right of me say, “It will be okay. It will work out.” I then felt a spirit hug: yummy chills up and down my body. I love that!

Because I like to teach and share my experiences, I did what every detective and scientist would do. I analyzed what happened.

Was the voice inside my head like my own thought or outside my head? No, I’m not schizophrenic and hear voices, so it did come into my head like when I experience telepathy with the animals. It was more a foreign thought then my own. I was feeling sad and working on my site before this visit message, and that is where my focus was. I wasn’t thinking positively.

I experimented later on–forcing a thought to come through. It was like mind constipation. It sure didn’t flow. I also noticed that my head went quiet and I felt alone in the room vs. when I heard the message.

In my classes, I often have students practice the “rubber ball” technique. Students are divided into teams of two and practice sending with their minds different images of different colors, like a rubber ball. Students do a terrible job when they are trying so hard. No one receives any correct images. And forcing to send an image so forcefully creates so much psychic static no one can hear.

Spirit or Angel? I’d have to say Spirit. Spirit guides and friends are those who have passed and we have loved. Angel messages, for me, feel more behind me, feel large and encompassing. Spirits feel like they are in the room with me and communicate through telepathy or thoughts. I can feel if they are feminine or masculine. If I had tuned in more and asked, the spirit may have told me who they were, but it was a quick visit.

Your Spirit Guides can serve as guardian angels. I know mine do.

Have you had a spirit or angel hug during a visit?

Review of Afterlives of the Rich and Famous

It’s Thursday, that means, Review! Today I review:

Afterlives of the Rich and Famous by Sylvia Browne

I have a hidden passion, or maybe just guilty pleasure of reading tabloids like People magazine and Entertainment Weekly. I love to see what the celebs are up to, and especially like to see their humanity and how they are very much like the rest of us with problems, spiritual lessons and all. Therefore, I jumped at the chance to review Sylvia Browne’s new book, which has great bios on stars who have recently crossed over to the Other Side, including one of my personal favorites, Brittany Murphy. How are they doing now? Have they found happiness or healing on the Other Side? What did they learn while they were here? That’s the premise of her new book.

I enjoyed the intro which includes a breakdown of what makes up the world of the Other Side and what steps we go through when we return, as I love all info about the afterlife.  As with many of Sylvia’s books, I did differ with some details or facts she presents including her definition of “soulmates,” that we have only one Guide and I’ve experienced several, and a few other facts.  That can be explained as our paths and psychic experiences are as individual as our thumbprints and therefore, our perceptions or knowings are different. Even those who have had near-death experiences described their time in heaven differently.

I read with interest the bios of each hand-picked celebrity whose tales of life and then demise were told. I was like the kid in the candy store indulging on a giant lollipop taking in facts I had read before, and some I didn’t know.

Sylvia was taught that we all have life themes that we came in to explore. I had a hard time choosing which one resonated with me, my mind jumping around from “psychic” to “caretaker,” “rescuer,” and then “artistic pursuits,” and wondered why there wasn’t one marked “teacher” as I know is one of my missions. So far, my life hasn’t easily fallen neatly into any specific boxes, and I don’t think there is a simple formula that we all follow. It seems I had several themes and “to do’s” on my list to learn this time around, but it was fun to read about each celebrity’s themes chosen for them.

I haven’t always been a fan of Sylvia’s hard-ass style on delivering messages and have been upfront with that opinion. I did enjoy her book on dreams and recommend it as a resource in my Talking to Angels, Guides and Dead People class. I enjoyed the down-to-earth style of the writing this time around, but I did have a hard time with a large portion of this book.

As a teacher, I push that everyone can communicate with their Guides and doesn’t need a middleman. Mediums, like myself, simply can assist or get things rolling. From direct experience talking to or feeling your Guides, consciously recognizing their guidance, you become a believer. You feel that truth of what they say because you develop a trust and see their messages validated in your life. The messages of how the celebrities are doing on the Other Side are transcripted from information channeled from Francine, Sylvia’s longstanding Guide. Francine’s summaries on each celebrity can’t be backed by any kind of validation, which made it hard for my logical mind to embrace.  I don’t know Francine. I haven’t worked with this Guide directly for years like Sylvia has. I am sure she is highly trustworthy, but my mind still couldn’t grasp it. I’m not on the Other Side to concur the details she gives. To my mind, the recaps of where they are now could have been wish-for fantasies or made-up stories that we would want to hear. I would have embraced it more if, perhaps,  Sylvia retold mediumship readings she did with the relatives of the celebrities. Then there would be a logical psychic connection between relative and the crossed-over, and instant validation of the information or facts coming through from the left-behind brother or spouse. Instead, it felt like the heresay in People magazine, “So and so saw our celebrity having lunch with big time movie star and is rumored to have said…” I just couldn’t make that blind leap.

It was fun to read as a guilty pleasure, and if I simply saw the book as another tabloid report, took in the details about the afterlife that I enjoy, then it was an entertaining read.

Thanks to Trish for giving me the opportunity to review this book for Ronni’s Psychic Room.

I’m so excited…

It’s too cold! Today has been a great day to snuggle up to my girls, make some warm foods, and read and learn. It’s the perfect time of year for that. And coincidently, (great segue in, don’t you think?) the e-book I’ve spent over a year compiling, living and writing, will be ready tomorrow and I can’t contain my excitement. I love how our tough experiences in the end can benefit others if we share what we have learned.

Help! I’m Sensitive! 50 Tools to help you thrive and survive is located in the bookstore here at this site. Official announcements for the book come out tomorrow, but I couldn’t contain myself.

I’ve learned valuable techniques to help with my sensitivity including techniques like Mouse Theory and Psychic Vampires, filling in holes, turtle shell, changing aura pictures, dealing with other people throwing their fears at you, taking care of the number one need for empaths, why panic attacks can happen in malls, and much more. I’ve included my favorite entries here from my blog and included a great deal of tools from my arsenal given to me by my helpful team of Guides in the past year.

You can order the book now here today and start empowering yourself right away and have warm reading material for those cold nights.
