Great podcast Ronni! Enjoyed it and really really really relate to that story! Tried working for years at work I’m mentally and spiritually totally unsuited for and there are still people surrounding me who seem to believe they know what what kind of jobs are best for me… actually they believe any job that pays is the right one:( sad isn’t it? To such individuals, it doesn’t matter what you do, and it is totally irrelevant whether or not you are suited to the job or if you like what you do. Their mantra? “we all have to do stuff we don’t like!!!” Nice attitude, eh? When I look at these people, it’s obvious that they really aren’t engaged with what they do, aren’t particularly interested in anything but receiving a paycheque and don’t do any more than is absolutely necessary to earn that money. That to me is a sad way to make one’s living! It’s obvious these individuals aren’t happy with what they do yet they’ve bought into the old notion of working at a job no matter what is the correct one. Perhaps having someone drag them kicking and screaming into the 21st century might help! lol Hey maybe I could make that my job…I’d really be contributing to the betterment and certainly the happiness of those individuals and their immediate families;))
