Are you a sensitive? My letter to you, fellow sensitive.

A Letter to the Sensitive

You may have spent your whole life trying to shut your sensitivity down, like I did. Instead, the abilities surface through nervousness and anxiety, belly aches, or even depression.

You may have been told that you don’t have these abilities and just want attention, but you have seen with amazing accuracy the validity of your perceptions.

You may have felt fear about your abilities, but you really do have control with them, once you have tools and understanding on how to use them.

You may have felt the backlash of your sensitivity living in an insensitive world–you’re sensitive to foods, and the environment. Everything makes you rash out. Too many people overwhelm you. Those are the times you curse being you.

You may have felt an outsider in the world, and want to hide who you are just to fit in. But you forget, everyone has something a little different inside of them.

You may have felt very lonely as you deeply connect to everyone and everything on such a deep level, because they can’t always return the favor.

You have these gifts for a reason. You were made this way for a bigger purpose. Embrace your gifts, because your path is one of self-acceptance. And once you reach that, and embrace all of you, you will truly save the world, one person at a time.

It is my hope that the following tools will help you find your balance again and repair what’s been lost. Let’s begin.

D e t a i l s about the book:

Product description:

Are you a sensitive? Do you feel everyone’s emotions as if they were your own? Walk away from talking to a sad friend and are sad or tired and drained? Have you ever been told you need to “toughen up?” As sensitive little empaths we came in wired to feel everything strongly and be super tuned-in psychically to our environments. We needed tools to navigate this foreign world, and many of us didn’t receive those growing up.

Teaching through sharing my stories: My e-book is jammed pack with 50 new tips and tools to put in your psychic self-care pocket to be able to live as a sensitive and really thrive. Organized by problem, entertaining, down to earth, practical stories throughout illustrating each tool or lesson, you will walk away understanding how to handle the specific issues most empaths deal with and what tools to grab for.

Topics include:

The belief that being an empath is unsafe–true or untrue?

I get too involved in other people’s lives–is there a solution?

Losing yourself around others–use this tool

Dealing with non-empathic people–an alternative to living in a cocoon

Mouse theory and psychic vampires–it’s how they get to you

Empathic overload–the symptoms

How to know you are carrying, not caring

and many, many more tools.

The sensitive’s bible! Everything you need to refer to to tame your sensitivity and rethink how you see it. You NEED this book.

TESTIMONY:

“When the student is ready the teacher comes.  Well this is so true with your book. I consider myself so blessed with my work and there was always this one place where I was most vulnerable, my sensing.  I knew that before some of my sessions and after even days after, I would get physically ill, stomach aches, headaches and chest tightness are the most common. Sentience has always been my frenemy.  I really truly appreciate the divine timing of finding your book, I have recommended it to so many others.  It makes this real it real, validates it for me and that it’s  not just a side effect of being a really rockin’ psychic.

A few things have helped me specifically right now:  compassionate detachment- working on this with my children, the turtle shell LOVE THIS- the bubble is not enough when in group situations, the story about going to the vet and how “that stuff” referring to our work as if it were anti- God, and the story about the counselor,  I have been in both these places! Take a stand and walk away.

I just cannot express how life changing this is- I needed it, I had no idea how to find it, and pop there is was.

My guides have also been giving me lots of info about my physical body, again another area I tend to stay away from and it is now demanding my attention, so much so that my empath stuff has started to process inside my physically body, which means for me HELLO big red flag!- learn how to process this energy before it causes problems.  Its a management style I need to learn and I am ready.  Thanks again!

Check out the Great Reviews for Help! I’m Sensitive:

“I just finished reading my kindle version of your book! Wow–so many useful tools! And I now feel like I understand myself better and value my sensitivity. I’m going to order a hard copy of your book so I can quickly find a tool when needed. Thank you for your explorations and sharing with us all with your book. I look forward to the next volume!” — Ruth Elsesser, Arizona

“I love that Ronni’s encouragement to keep going is so strong, it’s like having a higher-self in your pocket saying life can beautiful if you make an effort to listen to your empathic self with love.”– Tarz Jefferis, a.k.a., “Indigo Cherub”, Australia

“Ronni has a way of explaining how energy works from a very wise and clear place that is easy to understand and take-in.  Just by the way she defines a “Sensitive” is so helpful and totally shifts any negative ideas one may have with being “Sensitive”. — Melissa Fernandez, USA

This is a really handy resource book for all those sensitive, empathic people out there who feel bombarded and overwhelmed by the world around them. It provides a very focused and well-explored pathway for self-protection, and some really useful insights into what it means to be empathic – or to feel other people’s emotions and feelings as though they are your own.

It can be a little bit scary for those who haven’t had time to feel out and understand what is going on inside them. This book helps to tame that fear, making us empathics, more self-sustaining and balanced!

Ronni has this great way of being economical with words, to the point and, exploratory with the personal stories, ideas, tips and tools that she presents. She’s a healer, so she’s to the point, and expansive at the same time! That’s just the way I see her energy works…” — Monique Williams, Australia

“Ronni’s book is extremely easy to follow and you don’t have to read it front to back. Actually, the first time I picked it up, I skimmed it for topics that were interesting or pertinent to me at the time, and read it that way.  Actually, it would be a useful guide to reach for any time you are going through a sensitive matter or mood, or need some guidance to understanding why you are feeling so emotional, sensitive, down or just plain wierd. Sometimes us sensitives easily forget just how much we get affected by other people’s energies not to mention environments!” — Natalia Kuna, Australia

“I recommend Ronni Ann Hall’s book for anyone learning to deal with their psychic sensitivities.  Reading her book feels like listening to the advice and stories of a close friend…What I really love about Ronni’s book is that she writes from personal experience.  She gives so many examples of everyday situations that presented lessons for learning how to integrate and refine her empathic abilities.  She talks about experiencing panic attacks when taking in too much energy (which is something I can totally identify with.)” — Jen LoveJoy, USA

“Help! I’m Sensitive: 50 Tools for the Sensitive to Help You Survive & Thrive By Ronni Hall is an amazing book for sensitive people!!! Ronni shares her amazing insights and lessons on how to deal with being a sensitive person!!! She covers many topics such as using your gifts, dealing with psychic vampires, clearing yourself and valuing yourself! Thank you Ronni! I could really relate to all of the tools she gives regarding common situations. In one part Ronni talked about ways to get centered after being bombarded by energies! I found this lesson to be extremely therapeutic and eye opening! As a sensitive person I thought I just had to suffer in the world! Ronni explains how who we are is a gift and through self awareness sensitive people can thrive! I am looking forward to more books from Ronni!” -Andrea Dombecki, Contributing Editor of The Faeries and Angels Magazine

“I’ve been invited to review HELP! I’M SENSITIVE. One thing that impressed me was her note, ‘It’s not that I’m a little delicate flower who can’t survive in the world, in fact, I’m quite strong.’ I love that acknowledgment! A zappy little guide for us folk who see the world a bit differently…” Lorraine ChittockChile

“Several of Ronni’s solutions harmonize with messages I’ve been told by my guides over the years — really good advice that I had completely forgotten about. It was beautiful and affirming to read her truth and wisdom, and I greatly appreciated the many solutions I hadn’t thought about before – like making an Everything I Love book to look through on days when I’m having a case of the mean reds. Ronni intends her book to be something you can go back to when you’re upset, like looking up how to deal with a physical ailment, and I can already tell it’s something I’ll be referencing often in the near future.” — May Evans, USA

“I highly recommend it! Ronni has such an easy way with her writing. It feels like we’ve been invited to take a peek into her personal journal. She gives us insights through her experiences with being sensitive and the tools she has discovered.” — Maryellen De Vine, USA

  2. Hi there – found your site through Julia Stonestreet’s Leonine Times. I’m a Cancer, and throughout my life, I’ve been so careful about everyone else’s feelings. So much so, that I’ve rejected and ignored my own in order to ensure the well being of another. Now forty, I’m getting better at recognizing my journey…my energy. I’m better in crowds, though a mass of people still does exhaust me!

I’m going to check out your store…Thanks!

  4. I’ve always known, but never had a label for it, never knew it was a shared thing, either, until about 10 years ago. The first time I was really aware of something inside me was when I saw the movie, The Three Lives of Thomasina, in 1964. I was 12. The movie was disturbing and mesmerizing on a very personal level. I never got over it, and I’ve never shaken the feeling from it. I learned to tap into it in a lot of ways, including art, design, writing, music. I have a special affinity to nature, and to cats, and especially to feral cats. I am not shy, but definitely an introvert, who can be “on,” when I need to be. I have learned to balance pretty well after nearly 6 decades in this skin. Glad to meet you all.

  5. Hello,

I’m not sure if this is the right forum for this but I’m betting someone can point me in the right direction. Growing up I used to see (and more often sense) colors for people. I could generally tell how they felt emotionally (not as an exact science or perfectly, but as a general rule). As an adult, I saw less and sensed more of the colors.

A few years ago my fiance and I split up. I firmly believe that this was my soul mate. However, free will trumps any “soul mate” connection and the stresses in our relationship became too much. When that happened I lost all ability to sense anything in anyone.

I have been without any real sense of emotions for over 6 years now. The only thing I ever “sense” is related to my former fiance who moved 120 miles away. I can tell when things are not going well for my ex and this is usually validated later through mutual friends and acquaintences. This in itself is a difficulty since I have since moved on and my ex presumeably has as well.

The real heart of my difficulty, however, is twofold. Is it possible to get my old “skills” back and improve them? Is it possible to sever the connection between my soul and that of my ex’s? Any thoughts?

  6. Worth a try, it’s worked for me before, and you may need to do it a number of times as its seems to be a very strong connection. You could try a visualisation. Imagine firstly yourself and your ex fiance in the picture together, initially you are connected, like an umbiblical cord, allow yourself to feel what is there and what colour you sensing. Take your time .Now choose a colour that makes you feel strong and make yourself that colour. Your ex becomes a shady spotty grey that starts to fade into the background. You need to cut those ties clean and quick and with conviction. Cut them. Feel and watch your colour grow stronger and brighter and happier and you regain back your all of your strength and all of your senses. As you get bigger and brighter your ex quickly disappears until he is a tiny black dot that floats off into the universe. Forgotten.
You are no longer connected and no longer have ties. You have no need what so ever to sense anything related to him at all. ( Im just guessing the sex here) Do this again if you feel the need to reinforce that break. Hope it helps.

  7. Hi. I happened upon your blog when searching for information to help me confirm what the doctor’s can’t and what medications have not been able to help in me: my depression, anxiety, and panic that strikes me on public outings. I’ve always been a very spiritual and open person, I’ve studied the paranormal and these types of gifts for some time now, because I have always felt some sort of kinship with them and I’ve been working on trying to recognize any “gifts” that I might have that could be indirectly causing my emotional issues.

I’ve recently had some experiences with seeing what I believe were auras, and feeling vibrations around people that seemed, innately to me, to resonate with their moods. I believe this may go back to something I read about quite some time ago, called realm dynamics, but I’m pretty much just confused at this point. I think my confusion stems from my lack of identity with anyone who might understand what I’m going through or what I see/feel around others.

I hope that your blog can help me to understand myself – I’ve been on this journey for some time, and have yet to find any resources that have truly helped me, aside from providing “information.” Information is useless to me unless I understand it, and what with mixed emotions and a constant struggle with picking up things around me and not knowing how to turn it off or deal with it…I remain frustrated and lost.

  8. Christy,
I was an undiagnosed” empath for so many years! I had stomach aches from others’ anger, panic attacks from overload in malls, crowds. I was so glad when I found out what it was from. I also teach an online class, Care of the Sensitive, and offer coaching for other sensitives, if you are interested. Go to my site. Otherwise, keep reading. I hope I share what will help you. There’s lots of things you can do to help including learning protection with light bubbles. I find flower essences REALLY help and sometimes, even avoiding the crowds knowing that it will be too much for you. So glad you found the blog!

  9. Hello,
I am so intrigued by your blog spot. I have been extremely in tune my entire life. I know when people die before anyone else does. Whenever someone calls me or comes into the room to tell me bad knews, I can sense automatically what happened and what they are about to tell me before they even speak. My sensitive powers weren’t as active as a child but I am turning 19 in November (smack dab in the middle of the Scorpio sign) and my senses are ever increasing. I know when I’m not alone and i feel everything.
In fact last night I had called one of my friends who is an EMT and he sounded down in the dumps. He’s a prideful person and tries to always seem as though he’s just fine and has not a care in the world. I read him like a book telepathically. The only way I can ever find out what he is really thinking or feeling is by reading him through his voice and guessing what it is. 99.9% of the time I’m right on. But back to how he sounded sad, he said to me “I’ve had a really bad day”. Most of the time it would be because he lost a patient or couldn’t save someone, but I knew that wasn’t why. So I asked him what I was feeling… “did you kill someone?”. He paused and started breathing heavily and answered “how did you know?”. He, in self defense, had shot two men that day. Further, I knew where the gunshots were at and the setup of how they were all standing when the shoot out happened.
I know that I have psychic/telepathic/sensitive abilities, but I would like to learn how to further them. If anyone has any information on how to train and increase your already prevelant psychic abilities, please let me know.

    Thanks a lot,
    Ali

  10. I am a sensitive and ever since I was a child I knew there was something different about me. My mood can change almost instantly just from being around someone long enough. If a person’s emotions are strong enough, I can physically feel the energy from those emotions. I can also feel a person’s energy when they enter the room. My ability is even strong enough to feel, hear, and sometimes see energy from ghosts. Unfortunately as I get older my ability becomes weaker and I want to know how to make it strong again. When I was a little girl, I always felt surrounded by energy. Even though it scared the hell out of me then, I want that feeling back now. When I turn off the lights at night, I don’t see darkness; I see lights. If you know of some way for me to intensify my abilities I would love to hear from you.

  13. I find myself wondering where I fit here. I’ve always been in-tune & sensitive to the emotions & feelings of other people & animals. However, 8 yrs ago I had a near death expierence that left me severly injured, & since then I’ve been feeling strong energy around me. At this point the only distictions I can make in these energy’s is either positive or negative, human or animal, male or female. Nothing more. Sometimes it scares me and other times it brings me comfort. It seems that in the lowest times of my life the energy becomes stronger & more frequent. I don’t know if I fit in as a sensitive. I certainly don’t have control over it at this point. Any thoughts about what I’m expierencing & what this could mean for me?

    1. Heather, sounds like you are open to spirit now. The stronger energy you are feeling when you are down are your “angels” or what I call guides–your spiritual helpers. They come in closer when you need them most. I’d say you are sensitive. That near death experience opened you up more to that world of spirit. You are now dipping into more mediumship abilities. Start to play with it. Identify the energies. Put on lots of protection around you so you communicate with what is good for you.

I also use only natural remedies. It’s so refreshing to talk to someone who understands what it is like to be sensitive in an insensitive world. I’m starting my first book about my experiences. This is exciting stuff. There is no reason for us to hide anymore. It’s times to shine our light. The world needs us! 🙂

      2. Andrew, you certainly sound like an empath. An empath can pick up on feelings, or if a spirit is nearby, or handle an object and read information. That’s all psychic information available through our feelings.
